Services

Assistive Listening Devices

We have an Assistive listening system installed to improve the quality and clarity of sound for our patrons who are hard of hearing. Devices are available for use free of charge at the box office. We will ask you to leave your driver’s license or other ID while using the device. These are over the ear amplifiers, not T-coil devices. We ask that any personal hearing device is turned off when using an ALD as it will create feedback.

ASL Interpreted Performances

Vineyard Theatre will offer ASL interpretation to at least one performance during each show. Please contact the Box Office at 212-353-0303 or boxoffice@vineyardtheatre.org to find out more about that date and reserve your seat. An ear icon marks which seats are ideal for viewing the interpretation in these ALDs.

Accessible SeatingĀ

Vineyard Theatre offers seating in the front row for patrons who use wheelchairs, walkers, scooters or other mobility devices. A1 and A2 can be fully removed to accommodate any mobility device. Please select which level of access you need when booking your tickets either online or via phone so we can best accommodate any needs. Tickets are available online (noted with wheelchair icons for wheelchair accessible seating), but we recommend calling the Box Office at 212-353-0303 so that we can discuss which seating options will best meet your needs.

Select accessible seating if you have an issue with stairs or a mobility device that will need storing.

Our theatre is subterranean, but we share an elevator with the building next door. Please ask for the house manager upon arrival if you need the elevator.

Please let the box office know of any needs in advance or upon arrival so we can make your experience as seamless and comfortable as possible.

Content and sensory advisories will be posted on a show by show basis. Feel free to contact the box office (email and phone) for additional information.

Both seats 1 and 12 are on the aisle. Row A is the only row with no stairs though row B is a half step up. There are 17 steps down to the middle level and 17 steps down to the lower level. Restrooms are located on the lower level and are accessible.
