The 2024 Gala honors Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who made his Vineyard Theatre debut in 2004 in Christopher Shinn’s Where Do We Live. He is well known for his role from 2009-2020 as Mitchell Pritchett on the sitcom “Modern Family.” Honored with four SAG Awards, five Emmy Nominations, and four People’s Choice Nominations. Jesse also won the 2022 Tony Award and Outer Critics Circle Award for his performance in Take Me Out. His other Broadway credits include On the Town, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Drama Desk Award), and the Vineyard-premiered solo show Fully Committed (Drama Desk Award). Ferguson is the co-founder of Pronoun, an organization which advocates for the civil rights of the LGBTQIA+ community in the United States and beyond.
Your Gala donation directly supports Vineyard’s Season; our Fair Pay Initiative, a commitment to pay all arts workers, on our stage and behind the scenes, a livable wage; and our Good Neighbor ticket accessibility program, through which we make thousands of subsidized tickets available at a low cost each season.
